Step 1

To begin the application process, go to the ENC system website and look for the apply icon on the left side of the screen.

The online application form for New Connection will open once you click the apply icon. Enter your neighbor’s 14-digit reference number into the box on the right side of the screen. Choose your distribution firm and type of electricity connection according to your needs after entering the reference number in the designated box.

To continue, please fill out the following online form with your details. Fill out the Landlord Owner box if you own the property that needs an electricity connection. If you are not the owner, fill out the Tenant/Rental box. Fill in the following information:

  • Your Current Residential Address
  • Register two active mobile numbers for contact purposes.

Another option for applying for a new power connection is to do it manually. Simply following the steps outlined will get you connected to the power grid. To obtain an application form for a new electrical connection, visit the local Fesco office or customer service center in your city.

After you have the application, be sure to fill it out thoroughly. The application asks for your name, full address, phone number, and the sort of power connection you wish to receive, so be sure to provide the department all of that.

When you submit your application, be sure to include any supporting documentation.

Required Documents for a New Electricity Connection

If you are applying for a new connection with FESCO, you must provide the following documents with your online or paper application:

Copy of Property Document

A copy of the relevant property documentation must be attached to the application in the first place. It’s a way to make sure you own it. An attachment of the sale deed is required in the case of a house purchase; a rental agreement will suffice in all other cases.

Attested ID Card Copy:

Your National Identity Card (CNIC) should be the second document you attach. For identity verification purposes, it is imperative that the copy be attested by a official authority.

Attested Witness ID Card:

A certified copy of the witness’s identification card is also required. Your application and identification can be attested to by any credible individual, such as a neighbor, acquaintance, or relative.

Electricity Bill Copies from Your Neighbors

A duplicate of your neighbor’s power bill is another required piece of documentation. In order to clear up any confusion in the future, FESCO needs to confirm your location.

Wiring Contractor Test Report:

Finally, make sure to provide a wiring test report with your application. Get it by having a licensed electrician come to your house. According to the report that was provided, your house’s wiring configuration meets all the required standards.

The FESCO New Connection Categories

You need to specify the category type when you apply for a new connection with FESCO online. It’s the maximum power that your electrical outlet can handle. Below, you will find the installation timeline and detailed descriptions of all category kinds in case you are unsure which one to choose:

Above 15 kW

Your new connection can handle loads of up to 15 kilowatts, as shown in this category. On the online form, you’ll see a list of choices; choose one. In any case, private residential structures are the ideal places for it. The entire procedure will take 30 days from the date of application submission.

71–500 kW/400 volts

Customers can qualify for Category if their electrical equipment can handle 500 kilowatts or more. This option is available for domestic houses. Nevertheless, within 73 days, new connections of this sort will be set up.

501–5000 kW/33 kV

You may qualify for Category if your machinery can handle loads of less than 5,000 kilowatts. Commercial landmarks and supplies operating at voltage ranges of 11 to 33 kilovolts are ideal candidates for this approach. Installation for this connection type typically takes 106 days to complete for consumers.

66+ kilovolts

At a voltage greater than 66 kilovolts, this category can be considered the last one to supply, if your connection can handle more than 5000 kilowatts. Businesses often choose this category type for their buildings. It will take 496 days to complete the installation process.
